Toughout the year we carry out several activities in which the English language is used. Some of the activities we are doing this year are the following:

Visit to the Reales Alcázares
​
On the 27th of November, the students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd of Secondary Education visited one of the most representative monumental compounds in the our city, the Royal Alcázar. Our students spent a fabulous morning visiting and knowing the history of the building and the different rooms of this palace, and walking through its spectacular gardens.

Visita a los Reales Alcázares

El 27 de noviembre los estudiantes de primero, segundo y tercero de ESO realizaron una vistita a uno de los monumentos más representativos de nuestra ciudad, los Reales Alcázares. Nuestros alumnos y nuestras alumnas han pasado una estupenda mañana visitando y conociendo la historia de las distintas dependencias de este palacio, y paseando por sus espectaculares jardines.

Visit to the City Hall
​
On the 14th of November, the Secondary Education students visited the main offices of the City Hall with a guide in English. The guide told them when it was built and who built it, the different phases of the process, main artworks (pictorial, sculptural and architectural). The guide also provided a brief explanation of how a local government works.

Visita al ayuntamiento
​
El alumnado visitó las principales dependencias del Ayuntamiento con un guía en inglés. El guía les habló de cuándo fue construido y por quién, las distintas fases del proceso, principales obras de arte (tanto pictóricas, escultóricas, como arquitectónicas). Asimismo, el guía les dio una explicación breve sobre cómo funciona el gobierno de un ayuntamiento.
Open Day
Last 29th May, we celebrated the OPEN DAY in our school. Students from 5th Primary from Mercedarias together with our ESO students enjoyed our 4 workshops: Biology, Geography, Physical Education and English. It was a good chance to share our English and to share some tea and pastry! Once more, students from Mercedarias and Mª Inmaculada learn and have fun together. "Baggy says...see you next time"..
El pasado 29 de mayo celebramos el OPEN DAY en nuestro centro. Alumnos de 5ºEP junto con nuestros alumnos de la ESO disfrutaron con los 4 talleres; Biología, Geografía, Educación Física e Inglés. Fue una buena oportunidad para compartir nuestro inglés y té con pastas. Una vez más, los alumnos de las Mercedarias y de Mª Inmaculada aprenden y se divierten juntos. "Simón dice...hasta la próxima"

Open Day
This November our 2nd, 3rd and 4th ESO students have enjoyed a new bilingual activity. They have attended the screening of a film at the European Film Festival of Seville, a great opportunity to learn and entertain with the most current European cinema. At the end of the projection they had the opportunity to know all the ins and outs of the recording in the conversation with the director of the film, in which they could put into practice their knowledge of English in a real environment.
Este noviembre nuestros alumnos de 2º, 3º y 4º de ESO han disfrutado de una nueva actividad bilingüe. Han asistido a la proyección de una película en el Festival de Cine Europeo de Sevilla, una estupenda ocasión para aprender y entretenerse con el cine europeo más actual. Al finalizar tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer todos los entresijos de la grabación en la charla coloquio con el director de la película, en la cual pudieron poner en práctica sus conocimientos de inglés en un entorno real.
